Investment Policy
We develop client-specific investment strategies that emphasize diversified asset allocation. We work with each client to create a personalized Investment Policy Statement, which outlines the strategy that is appropriate for that individual. The Investment Policy is updated and adjusted to conform to the client’s changing needs.
 
Active vs. Passive Management
In recommending an investment strategy we are mindful of the ongoing debate over the Efficient Market Theory: the belief that markets are efficient and that active managers cannot consistently outperform relevant indices. We have developed a strategy that we believe can capture the benefits from both sides of this debate- we call it Core and Explore.

In certain asset classes, where existing evidence is stronger that the market is efficient we hold an appropriate index fund or Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) as a core position. We compliment these core holding with best-in-class active management. In addition we attempt to add Alpha to our portfolios by employing both strategic and tatical allocation strategies.
